The Panasonic SDX900 DVCPro Camcorder took the production world by storm by providing a very cost-effective way of getting a progressive 24-frame look onto a standard rate, standard defintion recording. The camera operates in the same way as Panasonic’s DVX100 by shooting 24 progressive frames per second, using a storage cache to provide an internal 3:2 pull-down to a regular SD recording. A lot of bang for the buck!
