Offering P2HD solid-state acquisition at DVCPro 100HD as well as a mini DV tape mechanism for shooting in SD, the HVX200A is ideal for transitioning from an older standard definition, tape-based infrastructure to a file-based, high definition production.
With 1/3" 3-CCD progressive sensors and a 14-bit conversion to digital, the flexible recording options include HD at DVCPRO 100mb codec, SD at DVCPro50 or DVCProDV codecs to the P2 cards, or DV recorded to miniDV tapes.
